Thanks for a Great First Year!

If time really goes fast when you’re having fun … then the inaugural year of  3Up Metal Works has been an absolute ball!

Thank you to our customers, employees. strategic partners, vendors and everyone who’s supported our early success. It’s gone faster than we thought possible. Business has grown rapidly. So many people have helped … for which we’re eternally grateful.

It seems like just yesterday we  announced the launch of 3Up Metal Works. Our President, Jason Young, bought the company known for 20+ years as SSO, LLC. A military veteran, he  rebranded the firm to honor all who serve our nation.

From the get-go, our goal was simple: Provide unparalleled quality, adaptability and flexibility for customers’ metal fabrication needs. Whether catwalks or conveyors, stairways or structural building components, we would meet their specs, budget and time frame.

We expanded the company’s horizons. Design, mechanical assembly and installation services were added. Why make customers shop around, when our skilled team can cover a project “from A to Z?”

The 80-20 rule always runs the show: 80% preparation and 20% execution. Prepare well to perform well. Sound planning prevents unwelcome surprises. Uncomplicated, huh?

It’s been an amazing year. Thank you again for your support of 3Up Metal Works. A business like ours succeeds only through the backing of many. As discovery meetings continue with our valued partnerships and new relationships, we foresee even more new, exciting opportunities that will continue to move the mission forward!”

3Up Metal Works Honored by Local Business Publication

The  Daily Reporter recently named 3Up Metal Works one of its  2021 Newsmakers of the Year, awarding the metal fabricating company its Veteran-Owned Business of the Year honor.

President Jason Young accepted the award at a reception at Discovery World on the downtown Milwaukee lakefront. The award was one of 15 given to a broad cross-section of companies and organizations representing the local construction and contracting market.

Jason served in the U.S. Marine Corps and Wisconsin Army National Guard, including a tour of duty in Iraq. From the moment he established 3Up Metal Works in November 2020, he pledged to instill the military principles of discipline, service and hard work into the company.

“Receiving this award was a tremendous honor, and I thank the great team at 3Up Metal Works for making it possible,” Jason said. “Military service teaches the incredible value of strong teamwork. Our company is successful because of it. This award recognizes the contributions of everyone who plays a part.”
